A Desire to Help
“I have unfortunately changed brokerages before, and I have found my home at Peak,” says Athena Wilson-Flierl. Having been in the real estate industry for more than 20 years, and been named as one of 5280 Magazine’s Top Realtors from 2010-2017, Athena has interacted with brokerages and agents of all stripes, but she’s had her eye on the Peak Properties Group for a while.
So, what is it about working with Peak Properties Group that speaks to her? “The energy is fantastic, which is what got me into real estate in the first place – the energy – and while much of the market has changed from being collaborative, it’s now ‘me against you.’ It’s truly a team at Peak, and it’s extremely motivating.”
Collaboration is key with Athena, as she believes she was put on this earth to help people. And the level of customer care she provides goes well beyond the real estate transaction itself. “I’ve found myself helping people find a doctor, a financial planner, an insurance agent, finding their kids a ride to soccer practice, whatever,” she says. “This job allows me to meet people and help them in different ways.”
As a mother of three kids, Athena is frequently on the go with them, which is more than okay with her. “They’re so freaking fun!” she says. You can probably find them either in Georgetown or near Guanella Pass doing some hiking and a little meditating. Or maybe at the Botanical Gardens in Denver.
When working with Athena, what becomes apparent very quickly are the two themes of dedication to helping others, and a high level of energy. She’s successfully combined these two elements into a successful real estate career that’s emboldened by her landing at Peak Properties Group, where her motto “The client comes first, their needs over mine” is echoed by the rest of the team.
She’s here to help.
