Why should you make reservations now? Because you don’t want to miss out on some of the most tantalizing food in Denver at sometimes bargain-basement prices! Tables fill quickly during Restaurant Week, which runs from February 22 to March 3 this year. Here’s how to get the most of the annual celebration.
What Is Denver Restaurant Week?
If you’ve lived in the city for a while, you already know. In 2019, we’ll be celebrating the 15th Annual Denver Restaurant Week. If you’re new to the area, you need to know about the 10-day event. It’s your chance to honor your favorite restaurants in Denver. But, you can also check out those you haven’t tried yet.
Of course, with over 200 restaurants participating, you can’t get to all of them in 10 days, but many people enjoy trying! Restaurants that participate in the Week’s activities choose one of three pricing levels: $25, $35, or $45. The restaurant offers multiple courses for the price they choose, and most offer more than one choice for each course.
Diners love the chance to taste some of the best dishes in Denver at a reduced price. Restaurant owners love the chance to earn the loyalty of diners who haven’t visited before. And, it’s a win for the wait staff if you keep in mind that you need to tip generously due to the reduced prices.
Here’s Where to Start
See Where Participating Restaurants Are Located
Visit the map here. You can find restaurants near you. Or, if you’ve always wanted to visit a particular part of town, you can see which restaurants are participating in that area.
Search for Your Favorite
If you visit the search page, you can fine-tune your options. The search lets you select the menu price you want, and the regions of the city you’d like to visit. You can search for places based on amenities like a vegan or vegetarian option. You can even search by type of cuisine. If you want to find a match that isn’t listed on the search, there’s an open search field to help you out.
Both the map and the search let you visit each participating restaurant on their own event page. Those pages show you the:
- Restaurant’s address
- Link to their website
- Link to reserve a table
- Menu options
- Menu price and a bit of background about the restaurant
- Location of the restaurant on a map
- Amenities offered
- Other information the restaurant decided to share
If you planned to go for dinner and reservations aren’t available, try going somewhere special for lunch. You also may need to consider times earlier or later than you would normally reserve. If you’re really stuck, try calling the restaurant because they sometimes hold some tables for people who walk in or call.
