RiNo’s evolution is typical of urban neighborhoods in many cities. If you had visited what is now RiNo in the early 1980s, you would have found yourself in an industrial neighborhood. During the late 1980s and 1990s, industries moved out of the central part of the city. The neighborhood headed downhill. But, it attracted local artists with its affordable prices.

In 2004, neighborhood champions and the City of Denver created a plan to rejuvenate the community. Today, the River North Art District is an established part of the city that uses art as the common thread for development.

It’s a place where trendy urban dwellers feel at home. Murals on just about every wall in the area promote the gritty feel of the neighborhood. There’s a diversity of people, lots of quirky shops, and some of the best restaurants in Denver.

    RiNo Denver Homes

Homebuyers looking for urban living find just what they want in RiNo. Given the area’s history and location, most homes in RiNo are either lofts, townhomes, or condominiums.

You can find lofts in historic buildings. These lofts often include historic touches such as exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and polished hardwood floors. Many of the lofts provide upscale living with renovations that include sleek kitchens with stainless steel appliances, and outdoor balconies for entertaining.

Developers are rushing to build in the RiNo area. Sustainability Park, or S*Park for short, is a very unique development in the area. S*Park offers studios and one- to four-bedroom condos and townhomes.

The S*Park community is the perfect place if you are looking for a health-conscious and eco-friendly environment. Solar energy that the Home Owners Association manages is available to homeowners. There is also a park for use by residents, along with a community garden, and a heated underground garage.
